2024-05-20 00:23:40 +0000 UTCI just realized that I never actually watched the finale of this show 😅😆. I think when I first watched it like a year ago I was watching all the episodes from some channel that uploaded them to Dailymotion. I remember now that the episodes got copyright striked and taken down right before I got to the finale. Even though I had the winner of the show spoiled before I even started it, I fully intended on watching the whole thing through. I meant to eventually find another upload of the finale but got side-tracked with other shows and ended up completely forgetting about it. When I first started watching this reaction I was confused that nothing seemed familiar till it finally dawned on me that I never saw this episode. Anyways, it was a great seeing it for the first time, all the finale songs were really enjoyable!

2024-05-15 11:15:19 +0000 UTCyea I completely agree. Moonbyul just has a better foundation coming in that I think any of the other contestants had. I really don't know anything about their personal work, but I don't think any of them had solid solo careers outside of Yubin and Moonbyul. And seeing as they all got the rapper roles in their groups they haven't had any time to really hone their craft the way Moonbyul and Yubin have in their solo projects. So I think she already had an advantage because of that. Not only that, RBW is very encouraging of their artists being involved in their work, not just on the music side but also in the stage production side of things. So that definitely played a part here. The other contestants had fantastic stages, but I think Moonbyul in particular has an eye for how to really reach and audience and engage with them on her stages in a way the others couldn't always do. It's part of what sets Mamamoo apart from so many groups, obviously aside from the fact that they have 4 main vocals. :P Watching this with you again made me remember how much I love these girls. It's kinda sad coming to the end again. As evil as Paul Kim is, this show was so humble and sweet. Definitely one of my favorite competition shows in Kpop.

And (Mimi's gonna cry again), she's behind them again. 😆😆 I really do hope we get to see more interactions between all 8 of them, and I really hope Moonbyul will get to collab with each of them one day (Especially JooE!)

(and how Moonbyul immediately called her omonim, which "Omoni is more respectful term than Omma. So typically you would call your own mom Omma but you would never use that term to your friend's mom. You would always use Omoni or Omonim. But the terms Omonim or Abuhnim is used mostly for your mother-in-law and father-in-law.") 2) I love how the camera always like to show Oh My Girl's members Seunghee and Hyojung's reactions whenever Moonbyul's talking or after her performance, probably because Hyojung is one of Moonbyul's best friends (together with Red Velvet Seulgi, the 3 of them called themselves the Egg Yolk Squad) 😆 3) How all 4 of them immediately went to hug Moonbyul one by one enthusiastically and comforting her genuinely, showing how much they loved her and being really comfortable and close to her. <3<3 4) The final 2 are SQS and winners of Queendom 1 and 2 (sorry you were spoilt back in Round 2. 😅) .
