That’s one of the reasons why it was one of the options for my first drama was because I liked Mamamoo’s OST MV for it so much 😂

2024-04-09 19:01:07 +0000 UTCI love this drama, so any excuse to watch it again is always welcome. I hope you stick with it, it's crazy how attached you get to characters in these shows. I have watched quite a few and have never been disappointed. My favourite is Hotel del Luna starring IU.

2024-04-01 07:04:06 +0000 UTCThere's definitely different types of Kdramas, but this style is one of the most popular for sure. Some people can be put off by the cheesyness of them but I personally find them entertaining as hell. I've watched around 30 or so different Kdramas, each one had certain tropes for sure but were all still vastly different, and more importantly were super entertaining and like nothing I'd ever seen in western shows before. Netflix for sure has noticed their popularity, especially after Squid Game went viral. Last year they said they'd be spending $2.5 Billion USD on creating Korean content over the next 4 years. It's definitely been showing too, Kdramas coming out since 2020 have been getting big budget movie-like productions backing them. Strong Girl Do Bong Soon has been on my watchlist for awhile but I just haven't been able to get to it because there is always new highly-rated shows coming out every month it seems lol. It's nice having an excuse to watch this now (at least I have my own Viki subscription to continue watching it if you end up deciding not to continue yourself).
