Because Solar referenced/rapped part of that song in the last round during MMM's "Good Luck" cover. It's Jimin's song that she performed on UnPretty RapStar. And we all know how much Solar loves rap. [I'm late going back to watch these... It's been busy -_-]

2024-02-21 02:43:27 +0000 UTCCan't wait for you to eventually get to (G)i-dle's deep dive and listen to the original version of 'Put It Straight' (I think that's the more common translation of the song name) as well as the Queendom Nightmare Version Halloween choreography video they did which is a must watch. I always see it listed as a top recommendation to reactors doing Halloween Kpop episodes alongside Dreamcatcher's Boca Zombie Version.

I really wish that the translators did the song lyrics on these episodes, cause Moon’s new rap hits a lot harder when you understand what she’s saying to the Moomoos. There’s YouTube videos where they translated the song, so I recommend checking that out on your own when you get a chance. This was one of the things that made me move Mamamoo more. I’m not trying to say the other groups don’t care or didn’t put as much into their performances, but there’s something so different and special about how Mamamoo approaches their fans. When they got this assignment their first thought wasn’t just making a performance their fans would be proud of. It was to dedicate the song tho their fans and make us a part of their performance. They always look for ways of connecting with the audience on a deeper level than just putting on a show. It’s part of what sets them apart.
