"Dangdang" is like a word where Korean's use to describe someone who only has eyes for a certain somebody and follows their favourite person around like a puppy! So like in the chorus the english translation goes something like: "My head is spinning, dangdang" it's like that ditzy feeling you get when you see someone you like! When it says: "My dangdang" it would refer to "My puppy". I love how you caught the lyric change to "Hey shy girl". The girls mentioned in their fan meet that they prefer gender neutral terms thus they had a lyric change to their live performance to include the shy girls too :)

I've always had the impression I'm missing something with a lot of songs because of that. :) Pretty sure Dangdang is another JJ choreo. She was the blonde with pink highlights in the MV. Watching MMM+ you can really see where the influences reside in the full group songs and performances. :)

2024-02-13 14:18:46 +0000 UTCfun fact! dang dang was suppose to be title track for yellow flower instead on starry night because at the time, solar actually hurt her back so they werenβt able to do a harder choreo. solar, moonbyul and hwasa actually wrote the lyrics and composed it. during the fancon, they actually played the full version of the intro two rabbits. i like this actually reminded me of old mamamoo and during a fansign they said that i like this was a contender for the title track for their debut instead or mr ambiguous but did not make it, so this song has been kept for a really long time
