Yeah, out of these I've only caught Kingdom Legendary War, though I've watched it a few times now lol. I'm really excited to get to know each of these groups a little more, I'm with you multistan is the way to go!

2024-01-08 15:19:40 +0000 UTCQueendom was the first in the series, with the release order being Queendom S1 (2019), Road To Kingdom (2020), Kingdom: Legendary War (2021), Queendom S2 (2022), Queendom Puzzle (2023). If they continue the series this year we will probably be seeing something like Kingdom Puzzle but who knows with MNET. The series is really the first of its kind directly pitting groups against each other like this. As soon as the idea behind the show was announced it drew all sorts of attention, it was so exciting for everyone trying to guess who would be competing. When the lineup was announced you of course had the crazy stans from all sides that were going to use it as an excuse to say how much better their favs were and to put down other groups, but for the most part everyone that was sane was just excited to see new performances from their respective groups and see what friendships would be made during the show. While I have my preferences and thoughts on who would win, in the end I am as multistan as one can get and so I was rooting for everyone in the show. I was only familiar with maybe 2-3 songs from some of the groups in S1 so it was exciting to learn more about them. After the show ended I did discography deep dives on the groups I already didn't dive into beforehand and discovered lots of gems and found bias's for each group. I haven't rewatched the show since it initially aired so all these feelings and emotions surrounding it and the groups are coming back and it's fantastic to sort of relive them again!

2024-01-05 07:34:02 +0000 UTCPark Bom has an amazing voice. But the whole situation with 2ne1 is a bit of a tragedy. They broke up and she stayed with the agency (YG) as a solo artist. Their producer Teddy went on to be the producer for Black Pink. She had some very serious confidence issues. And I believe the agency pushed her into getting plastic surgery. There's a mini documentary on 2ne1's surprise Coachella performance last year. Where you can see just how much she relies on the other members for confidence. I think the documentary is on CL's channel. Personally, I like the version with the competitor reactions. 2ne1 is second gen k-pop. There is too much about them to list in one post. :) They broke the mold for K-pop girl groups. Invented the Girl Crush concept.
