I think it very unlikely she herself would have had anything to do with his murder... but I think the timing and his earlier predictions of potential violence make it a ripe ground for conspiracy theories regarding broader police involvement to flourish. He did have a history of getting mixed up with the wrong crowds and violence... so I think the timing of his death is just an extremely unfortunate coincidence and is rooted in his involvement and conflict with others predating Botham Jean's murder.
