Organic Rolling Wave Particle FX

I decided to create something festive but with my own psychedelic spin on it. We're going to learn how to create this fun procedural rolling wave effect where none of the particles intersect. It's really easy and doesn't require any simulation!
Hey, yeah I can absolutely cover that!

Hi Ian, I know its not really something you cover. But in the next tutorial or whenever you show the redshift rendering process, could you go through how to set up the OCIO settings so that the EXR looks like the render view? I'm having trouble trying to match my renders with the render view and was wondering if you could help with that. Thanks and have a great week!

hey ian. do you know why my cached geo might not be showing up in the redshift render view?

It’s just a single polygon circle that I extruded upwards using a poly extrude with some inset on it to make it taper at one end. I think I also played with the twist settings in the poly extrude to make it twist also. Nothing fancy

Ah okay, so I think the pb is patreon forcing the feed to 720p on my browser then, i'll look into this

hmm that's weird, I upload everything at 4K directly to patreon. I'm not sure if they give you controls to change the video quality or not though. On my screen it looks fine though.

Hey Ian, I can't change the video quality and it looks like 720p on my screen so I can't read any text, is that coming from the video provider ? thx
