Isabelle woke up with a melodic yawn, stretching towards the ceiling of her forest green bedroom. Today was the monthly paw inspection for all residents. The ordinance was passed after some villagers complained that the walkways were not as accessible for those who don’t wear shoes. The walkways were smoothed out and paw washing stations were added throughout the town. This was to ensure all residents received the care they required in all aspects of their lives. Isabelle readied herself for the day showing extra care to her feet. What would the mayor think if even Isabelle had problems walking around town? She gently scrubbed her pawpads, trimmed her claws and shampooed the fur on her feet. Isabelle used a leave-in conditioner that made the fur on her feet sparkle.
Soon she made her way to town hall where a line of villagers had already begun to form. Once Isabelle’s turn was up, she sat down in front of the mayor, kicked her feet up onto their desk and said “Hehe! I’m ready for my paw inspection mayor! The rest of the town is waiting for their turn so let’s get started!" The mayor looked closely at the bottoms of Isabelle’s feet. Her paw pads were immaculate in their softness and scent. Her fur glistened as the scent of coconut wafted from her paws. Isabelle passed with flying colors and smiled at the mayor before returning to her busy yet fulfilling life.
