Update!
Added 2020-05-27 20:04:58 +0000 UTCHello! I just wanted to catch everyone up on what I've been doing the last few months.
Last time I really did an update I was talking about Wake, and what I wanted to do with it, but I've changed my mind about a few things since then now that I've started no the comic. I'm not comfortable enough with the project yet to do private Wake streams, as I'm still figuring out what direction I want to go with how the comic tells the story. The idea for a Wake Patreon tier will have to wait.
I've been spending a lot of time getting book 2 ready and published! as it stands the order for the books is waiting on my publishers, who are for the most part, shut down until the pandemic stuff slows down (Bad timing).
Anthrocon this year is also shut down, which is a shame because my goal was to work on Wake and have it done for that convention, and it motivated me to work harder to move the project forward. But now I guess my new personal goal for the project is to have issue 1 ready for Tidewater comicon next year. I also have other ideas for comics, but I'm set on having Wake be the next comic that I print.
Also! For those at the $6 or more tier, I'm working on a new game! Exponential Magic was shelved (as the ideas I had for the game just weren't strong enough, and it needs more work before I can make it a fun game worth finishing and worth playing) but I was still itching to dabble in game making. The name for the game is pending, but I'll probably have a bare bones demo out for it soonish, and I'm hoping to get some feedback on it.
For me, coding games is a refreshing, different outlet for creating. I'm trying to be careful about how I manage my projects and time and how I prioritize, and I'm pleased with my current laid plans.
As for more short term immediate stuff:
My highest priority is getting a Bloodline buffer set back up, and I'm trying to do a little progress on the game every day, even if it's just picking out possible in-game music while I draw.
And, I think that's everything! I hope this has been interesting!
