029. Diablo (Model Info)
Added 2023-10-27 02:46:09 +0000 UTCDiablo is Maleficent's pet Raven who acts as her spy and accomplice in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. He is very loyal to her and highly competent, unlike the rest of her servants, as he easily succeeds in finding Aurora. He is the secondary antagonist of the film and is seen at Maleficent's side in almost every scene, he also has complete knowledge of her devious plots and even has control over her goons.
My plan is to perch the model on top of Maleficent's staff so I'll be making 2 versions of Diablo, a standalone version and one with curved feet for the staff. For his pose I've found a really cool picture of an Animators sketch where he's perched similar to the main image above and looking all menacing, the original drawing is a bit too blurry to include but I think he's gonna look awesome.
No trivia this time unfortunately, there's practically no info on him besides what's in the film. I've already started working on the model and he's looking great so far, the wip post will be out throughout tomorrow to get a first look at our latest character model, with the clean version to follow.
