This was found to be because the three do not take in metal at the exact same rate, likely because of the natural variations in ore veins. As a result, the pseudo-hair that grows does so differently for each head. It functions perfectly as a helmet, and although the slightest touch no longer deters them, running your hands through an Alolan Dugtrio's hair can cause them to get more than a little excited.
Just as their pre-evolution, they are stronger than their counterparts. They also tend to have a greater focus on efficiency. A male Dugtrio with a female partner will actually prefer using all three of their lengths at once by hooking their curved tips together, increasing girth as long as their partner can handle it, as well as tripling the amount of seed they can release at one time. Female Dugtrio tend to have a pecking order for who can use a male with one phallus first, usually led by the middle head, who already acts as a sort of leader.
Once again, although there are plenty of differences, there isn't much different about the core of what a Dugtrio is. It is still only advised for those who can handle three times the desire, and with added intensity from this variation's strength.
