Alolan Sandslash

Our researchers in Alola had a bit of a wake-up call when it came to the rules for safety we have, and were reminded that this is a job, not a vacation. Sandslash are already dangerous with their thick, chitinous spikes, but they're even more dangerous when those spikes are frozen. After the first couple of band-aid packs we had to deliver, they seemed to get the idea to be more careful. Luckily, they actually handle and care for the Pokemon we research before any sexual contact, so the important lessons about sharp objects were learned long before anything sensitive was exposed. For the actual intercourse itself, Sandslash typically have to face their partner at all times. No matter how tempting, do not wrap your arms or legs around them. Despite the limited options, there was plenty of results received in doggy style so long as the Sandslash generally stays on top, and missionary with them on the bottom. Still, as dangerous as their outsides can be, the combination of icey skin and a warm core make for an unusually stimulating skin texture, both giving and receiving. One female researcher regarded their male companion as a sort of "forbidden fruit", wanting to pull him in deeper, but knowing how dangerous it can be. Their physical danger aside, they actually tend to be timid creatures, many of the early incidents noting remorse at the smallest scratches. In one particularly unique occurrence, a male Sandslash who had been in captivity most of their life didn't respond to our female researcher. When presented with another male instead, they seemed to show guilt about the lack of options, and behaved in an interesting nonverbal way, seemingly wanting to be treated as a female. That was the only recorded instance our researchers had used every cork and small piece of wood they could find, so that the points were all covered, allowing her to be taken from behind without injury. Overall, aside from the poking, the experiences were rather positive. I'm personally glad for our researchers having an easy introduction to the cautions necessary, for future cases.
