Alolan Sandshrew are an interesting case, seeing how they developed from a mostly arid climate to a near-arctic environment. They still retain their core's heat, but their outsides are amazingly insulated to be coated in ice. The easiest way to both protect themselves and retain heat is keeping their front sides pressed against the ground or another creature. When our researchers in Alola found a group of them, they didn't even need to capture any of them. They acted like, as one put it, "a bunch of cuddle bugs", eager to latch onto a human that treats them kindly. Of course, eventually there were some lewd intentions as well, a bunch of Aspear berries passed around to make skin to skin contact safer, but even when breeding, the Sandshrew held close to their partners, cuddled up in a way they seemed to enjoy just as much as the researchers. The male Sandshrew were reported to be surprisingly eager, their hips humping away at our female researchers with no regard for the size difference, leaving their cavities filled with thick, chilling cum. The females were just as excited, refusing to pull away more than necessary when they managed to get our male researchers inside, seeming to thoroughly enjoy the warmth of a length inside of them. The most challenging part was satisfying their endurance, as despite the apparent neediness, each interaction took upwards of an hour, not including the amount of time spent cuddling, kissing, and petting afterwards. A few of our researchers wanted to keep their partners, but had to be reminded that their capturing and training career has to be kept as separate from this as possible. They were then reminded that what they do in their free time is their business, and not regulated on official records.
