Leafy Stardragon – Huge dragon, neutral

The stars aligned when Dragon won the last Huge Monster Poll and perfectly fitted into the collaboration with Borough Bound! So, after the Sliverling, here is the second creature I’ve had the pleasure to work on within the confines of this collab: the Leafy Stardragon. Just like the Sliverling it comes with a Borough Guide, a map with plenty of variants as well as music!

Cosmic dragons are altogether stranger than their terrestrial counterparts. The leafy stardragon is no exception. This interstellar traveler is drawn to astral jungles, locations teeming with life in the void of space. They act as custodians for sliverlings, shepherding them across vast expanses so that the noble gardeners can tend to nascent ecosystems. Naturally, leafy stardragons are hyper-protective, and they will interrogate and destroy any beings foolish enough to threaten their wards. Their starlight breath – fueled by the dim but omnipresent magic of the cosmos – tears through armor and flesh alike. More dangerous, however, is the risk of getting swept up into a leafy stardragon’s eldritch grasp.

As mentioned in my previous post, be sure to check out Borough Bound! They create awesome cities, each coming with flavorful details and rich lore. That said, I can’t be happier to have two more of my creatures dwelling in their worlds.
