Living Bookmark – Tiny construct, neutral

It is a most welcome guest among lightsome librarians and cheerful scholars. Others, however, regard this peculiar construct as nothing more than a nuisance. Grumpy booksellers, nefarious spellcasters or excessively pedantic collectors consider it to be a pest only seeking to destroy their precious goods. To a certain extend, this might be true. Nevertheless, a well-treated living bookmark can indeed be an overly trusty companion and proficient adviser eagerly willing to share its knowledge to its best abilities.
