Many of these quirky plants enjoy nothing more than simply bite into the ankles of any unwary traveller who dwells too close. Some, however, follow their adventurers tendencies and happily accompany whomever they feel comfortable with – and all it takes for a cute-root’s absolute bliss are a few drops of water from time to time. Instinctively knowing of their healing properties, such cute-roots willingly offer their trusty companions a bite or two. And to return the kindness they receive, the most loyal ones will even sacrifice themselves to save their friends.
