Just as deadly as its land-dwelling cousins, the water wurm strikes fear into the hearts of even the most hard-boiled sailors and explorers of oceanic life. Not that its bite is particularly painful or extremely dangerous by itself – it is the slowly manifesting effect of the wurm’s insidious poison that calls for immediate action. Unfortunately, medically trained hands are rare to come by on the endlessly waving waters of the vast and pitiless sea.
