Legend has it that this remarkable plant is in fact the result of a malicious experiment. Since damaging the rot root causes it to quickly sprout shoots, the plant eventually overgrew vast parts of the laboratory, callously devouring its unfortunate creators in the process. Even though the rot root can easily turn into a plague, it is still highly sought after by fanciers of extraordinary plants and owners of magnificent glasshouses.
