-Hickory Poll 🍂: VMC Outings

A poll for Hickory patrons that influences upcoming content releases.

It specifically relates to RO outings at the Verner Memory Center that are tailored by route with unique scenes and choices! 🥰 (Marjorie has been waiting for her chance.)

August 8th

-Forging Love 🔥🛠️🍭

Much like a rogue windstorm, the abundant energy of Judith Wilcox should be harnessed, if not redirected, into something constructive.

It's more sustainable.

You glance up from your tray of snacks to lock eyes with Marigold who boasts a snug flower crown. Harvesting blooms from Mrs. Dorran's garden was easier than stringing them, but you managed to hold Judith's variable attention by promising her not one but two models. You're laid-back enough that you set the tray down, peering behind the sofa and patting Marigold's head before her tail has a chance to thump too loudly. She peeks up at you, trusting of your hand with her pink tongue lolling out, similar to the few azaleas in her crown. "Where is she?"

-TFS Q&A Session

Question: "Will we get to learn more about our grandmother? 🌼"

The short answer is: 'yes', but I tease mentions of her. Your grandmother meaningfully comes up towards the middle-end of Book Two (Chapter 9). There's much to learn!

August 14th

-[Spicy 🔥] Toying with You

Question: "Spicy: The ROs have the remote to a toy the MC has "hidden" on them while in public, how much do they tease and when do they decide to do it? Or are any of them more interested in being on the receiving end of the game?"

Heated, narrative scenarios will accompany my answers for the ROs.

This post features R, B, and J. 😌 (I expanded them! 👀) Here are a few teasers:

There's an indecipherable emotion shading J's expression, but it's hot, registering as no-nonsense as they eye how your legs are slightly bowed, knees locked. You straighten up in response, if that is what they want from you. J leans forward in their chair.

R doesn't permit this, pulling your bodies together, just as that damned pleasurable vibrating sensation stirs to life again, escalating when they kiss you.

You lean in to gently kiss their cheek. "Stress less," you murmur. B smiles faintly at your advice before kissing you with fervor that's still a touch possessive because you're locked in their arms.

August 19th

-Lacuna Rambles/Thoughts/Gif Reacts #1: Anxiety Catchphrases

A ramble inspired by an article title that popped up while I was browsing!

It purports that there's a simple two word phrase that lessens anxiety/stress, which I (without having had my hot chocolate and essentially being this emoji: 🤨) was like: 'Oh, really? Do tell??' at my computer screen. (No, I didn't click the article. I judged its title...)

So, I want to share what the ROs would claim are their catchphrases or, more realistically, their mantras when feeling anxious, giving you insight into how their minds work.

August 22nd

-Tender Loving Care 🫂

-Hickory Preview 🍂: Tender Loving Care 🫂(Longer story with choices, DM-ed to you!)

• R. Verner has this^ cuddly energy in this writing. It's set deeper in romance, naturally, for them to feel comfortable displaying this rare clingy side. 🥺 You'll learn more context as to why they're feeling this way; perhaps, something harmful befell your beloved?

• Hurt/comfort and mainly fluff. A new side of R, J's protective side, and the trio's mutual care/support. 💜

• The Hickory Preview has some spice/angst, choice-dependent, alongside the hurt/comfort + fluff. Your choices influence the 'why' of the injury and let you uncover different things about the characters while letting you define your RV, to an extent.

With all the grace of a tased sloth, R flops over the back of the couch you're seated on, disrupting your reading. While their approach was silent enough to only now draw your attention away from the pages, J must've known in advance. There's a pillow already in position once R stops dangling from the Verner mansion's custom furniture, their head preemptively cushioned by its downy fluff. They land with a hushed 'oomph' that's muted in comparison to the worry pinching into J's expression.

A joke about the amount of potential shows of affection you can trigger in a single chapter. Also, hinting at a somewhat rare kiss for those of you keen to collect them all!
