Often referred to as “merchant’s curse” this creature has the extraordinary ability to smell lies and even more astonishing – consume them, rendering its victim literally speechless. While this effect only lasts a few seconds, it sometimes doesn’t take more time, to ruin a dishonest trader's business. Naturally, the Snifflewhiff settles where lies are dense and deception flourishes. Therefore, most of the very few confirmed encounters originate from highly populated or corrupted urban areas such as trading quarters, dock areas or aristocratic courtyards.
