[Sketch] The Simpsons - Drunk Marge (and info about Patreon's fees)

And now something a lot less fun to talk about.
You might have seen an email Patreon sent out (today?) to all patrons informing them of changes to fees, in an attempt to "give creators more of their money". Basically, they're adding a 2.9% + $0.35 feed to each individual pledge going forward from the 18th (I think?) of December onwards.
This means if you support 50 different creators at $1 each, you'll be paying 50 2.9% + $0.35 fees, meaning your normal $50 worth of pledges will now be $68.95 a month. Conversely, if you just support one creator at $50 a month, your new total will be $51.80. These changes hit the people who pledge a little bit to a lot of Patrons the most, and those people are freaking awesome, so this really sucks.
Fellow creator (of Dinosaur Comics, a great webcomic) has summed it up way better than I could right here. There's also an article about the changes with a lot of the numbers in it up on Pretty Terrible.
Needless to say, I too am not too happy with these changes, and I'd suggest if you aren't either you contact Patreon and let them know what you think. I'm currently considering other options for funding my art, since Patreon are becoming less consumer-friendly as the months go by. Until then, obviously, I super appreciate your support, but I also fully understand if you don't wanna support Patreon anymore. If you want alternative ways to support me, there's always sending me dollarydoos directly thru Paypal if that's your thing, or you can buy one of my old sketchpacks on Commiss.io if you wanna finish your collection :).
As for moving forward, I'll be looking into other options, because these changes on Patreon are a very, very bad sign.
