Sketch Ideas (for April)
Added 2017-03-09 20:10:38 +0000 UTCOkay, it's that time again! If you are new, each month I post a post (like this one) with a bunch of things that take place next month. Then, you guys suggest things involving those things, and if I have time, I sketch them and shove them in the sketch pack that I will upload at the beginning of April.
Eventually, I'd like to actually finish some of 'em, but that hasn't happened yet. Still, here's hoping.
Okay, so here're the things I found that are April-centric:
- April Showers: I think we uh, we could think up some stuff to go with that idea.
- April Fools Day: Jokes, japes and jests all take place for one glorious 12 hours at the beginning of April. Lets think up some smutty pranks!
- Easter: Eggs, rabbits, resurrections, idk. It happens in April.
And some non-holiday but April-specific days:
- No Housework Day: Generic moms putting their feet up for once, or maybe a more gross/slobby approach? Idk.
- Pet Owner's Independance Day: Apparently this is a thing where pets are supposed to go to work and owners laze around all day. I just like the idea of owners wearing leashes, myself.
- Girl Scout Leader Appreciation Day: I think we know what kind of appreciation we could show 'em.
- Administrative Professionals/Secretaries Day: Woo! Girl suits and high heels.
- Take Your Daughter (or Son) To Work Day: Probably my favorite out of the whole bunch, except I can't really think of many cartoons where we see the parent's workplace. Hm.
- April O'Neal. It's in her name.
And, as always, you are free to suggest anything, it doesn't have to be April-themed, I just like getting some themed sketches done, too.
