R. Verner can sometimes give off 'black cat energy' when engaging with people! They're known to be particular at times, distant from most and then ready to stick close to a select few. The below variation is contingent on your choices, but it tells us a few things:
1. One of the greatest mysteries of TFS, the name of R's cat, will be coming up soon-ish. (I'm mostly joking, but I do know this is something many of you are waiting to learn. π)
2. This encounter only triggers if your MC manages to impress/befriend the kitty. If they're romancing R. Verner (poly or solo routes), you'll get bonus scenes as well!
3. I wonder what the cat is inadvertently concealing with his fur? π
You shift closer, almost leaning on the case to peer atβ
"[Redacted]!" you exclaim, reeling back when the cat hops onto the case with a soft 'mrow' at your startled reaction. He's sitting on a veritable treasure chest of jewels as if it's a countertop, attentively watching you. "I was only taking a quick break from our game⦠I hadn't quit it."
He drapes himself over the case to seize the attention, black fur blotting out some gems.
"You remind me of R," you endearingly observe. "But you might be better behaved."

Because wow Also making my life mission to befriend that cat, not pulling any stops. Like cmon Alex already has the Cat's Cradle and the Cat Cafe TTP, befriending the actual cat is the logical next step
