This release is something different. Something real. Something that came straight from the heart.

This new trait — The Bereaved — was a custom commission order from Maes, and it’s one of the most emotional, human projects I’ve ever worked on. It follows the story of a Sim who’s learning how to live after loss , a big brother mourning the little sister he couldn’t save.

This trait isn’t just sadness. It’s about grief, guilt, healing, and the slow fight to feel okay again.

This one means a lot, because grief touches all of us at some point — and it deserves space in our Sims’ stories too.
