Shiori Novella - Progress II
Added 2025-09-20 15:11:57 +0000 UTCAfter 6 days, I have just finished character color and sketch for the background.
It took quite a long time. Maybe I already got used to making grand sets so now it makes it hard to come back to do things normally again. I put so much time into rendering the clothes and I tried a new color palette when making nude in hope I can increase the quality a bit. That is the research on this piece.
About the background I made the cityscape as promised but after spending hours on making it, it's okay now but I still feel something is lacking. I will try to fix it and start rendering everything tomorrow...after resting a bit. I have been working continuously for a week until late at night just for this. My left eye starts to twitch too much so I think I reach the limit.
Shiori really wears too many accessories T.T However, to be honest., She looks very good after everything is done. I especially like the underwear I put in. ( She wears a one-piece dress so it's hard to make variants, you know)
Anyway, there are still many problems but I hope you like the overall ideas. This will need another 3-4 days to render so please be patient until I finish it.
P.s: the next work will be simple because I messed up the schedule with an absurd idea again T.T )

Thank you ! I am having a bit of trouble with rendering the city. Houses are killing me lol But don't worry, the background will be done in no time ! A day's rest after this update really helped a lot. I will be back soon !

I really love the texture detail on her clothes and how much attention you gave to the way the different fabrics and textures hug her body or pool on the ground behind her. The little pull she does on her skirt is really enticing and hints at all the incredible detail and definition on her actual body beneath. This pose is great for showing off her curves and the definition of her muscles and joints, I think the color palette is very successful! I hope you got some good rest before you tackled the city again. Shiori looks fantastic so at least you don't have to think too much about her now. Maybe some rest will inspire you!
