HoloNatsu: Calli - June 2025's Reward
Added 2025-08-27 18:28:27 +0000 UTCAs promised, I finished it after one more day late. Actually, It's later than I expected. I planned to finish it this morning but now it is midnight because many things need to be rendered than I thought. I feel very exhausted now. My back hurts, my lungs start to feel pain each breath but after seeing the result, all that pain goes away. Thank you for your patience and let me do this.
I will start to draw cut-ins and make interactions tomorrow. There is still much work that needs to be done before the set is complete but I am trying my best to get it done and send the reward before the last day of this month.
About this work, as I always say about beach settings. They are so spacious that it's hard to think what to put into the work. That is why I decided to render bushes and leaves this time. It was hell but the pic looks a bit too much detail than necessary. To be honest, I have never drawn anything this detailed before so looking at it gave me a different feeling compared to my other works. Maybe this is the level of detail I always want to spend a month working on. However, it took too much time so I won't try it next time haha...
Too many characters in a work as well... Now I can explain why I felt so scared when I sketched 4 different settings earlier this month. It's just impossible to compete with my type of pacing...

I'm similar to you. I also want to see beautiful works and how far I can reach in my abilities. That is the biggest motivation for me to keep doing hard work despite it not bringing back me much money. Well, if I can challenge myself and see interesting things then I can do it all day. There are more things there besides coconut trees and crabs. It's pretty as well. Without those vegetation and the root system, it will be a disaster when hurricanes visit every year. I've been trying to test more vibrant palettes lately. I have used so much gray and overcast colors for years so It's good to change things that are more eye-catching which is easier to get attention. Well, it looks like I'm getting used to it and I'm glad that it worked out for you ! Well, I haven't gone into the lewd part that much. I'm doing it now. Really hope I can make it in time this time. It's already August 28 T.T I will have the cut-in done very soon ! I really look forward to seeing how this work turns out !

It's also VERY beach-like, like recently I was in Florida by the Keys and some areas genuinely look a lot like this, because you have areas like dunes right up from the beach where there's lots of vegetation and the root systems help keep those areas together and what not and kind of anchor against the relentless waves. The colors are SO vibrant and gorgeous. It makes me feel THIRSTY like I'm out having fun on a hot summer day. I guess the ladies also make me feel thirsty, in a completely different way, because they're so beautifully rendered. I love all the detail in their swimsuits and the different colors and styles they have, befitting their character! The different kinds of water is also striking; you have that rich deep blue in the background of the ocean and the beautiful blue sky, but you also have like those little puddles in the sand and dirt under their feet, it's awesome. I also love all the plants! The tree behind Calli has such beautiful shading on it. Very strong deep browns surrounded by energizing greens, browns and greens are some of my favorite colors together, they just feel so fresh and full of potential. As a whole this scene is very evocative, both in a lewd way and in a general way. Love it to bits. I want to frame it and hang it somewhere so it can give me that summer vacation energy every day. Thank you for your hard work, you really pushed yourself hard this time. I hope you can get the rest you need so that you can stay healthy; sleep is so good so I hope this one is a really restful one!
