2023-01-17 23:33:10 +0000 UTCI used a push modifier and added multiple push weights that push the skin in according to the table and out for the surrounding parts around the part where the table hits. I use this quite often to simulate body being pushed in or pulled out for various scenarios. The couch being pushed in is the same sort of technique but only pulling/pushing into one direction. Whereas the skin is being pushed/pulled in all directions.
