Most of the fine-detail on Amaya's skin is regular bump maps and normal maps and with Genesis 8.1's PBR skin shaders; the micro detail maps. For Nina's shots, the same as Amaya but also, I upped the SubD in the Mesh Resolution tab. Basically, if you're using the normal Iray shaders for your characters, consider looking into the PBR skin shaders that came with Genesis 8.1 figures.

What I mean is when I look at my scenes and model in the viewport in a pre-render state, the model is low quality and lacks any real detail. Once the rendering finishes the model is then very high quality. But I see in your pics, your model is super detailed in a pre-render state. So that’s why I was curious how I could see my model in that detail level pre-rendering. I’m referring to pics 7-9.

Wow these are hot, especially the cab scene! Question, how do you get such high quality in your viewport? All my models are low quality until the rendering process makes them high detail. It’s hard to make edits and such when everything pre-render is such low quality.
