Lock & Key Progress Update - December 2024

Let’s get the big one out of the way first: the script is DONE. Edited, revised, edited again, revised again, expanded, revised, edited, finalized, DONE! It took a good long while, but we’re all very happy with what that original seed ultimately bloomed to become. Sherri, Kealey, Ruby, Nina, and all of their fellow Magical Girls will be going on quite the journey…and hopefully one with a happy destination.
And the script isn’t the only big victory of the month: esselfortium’s terrific OST has been finalized as well! I hope you’re all ready to get a track or two stuck in your head, because that’s sure as hell what happened to me. We’ve got 10 very unique tracks to suit every mood and make every scene even more impactful. Seriously, it’s so good.
As far as the art front goes, we’re almost done there! Sprites are good to go, as are a majority of the CGs with only a few ending/epilogue pieces left to finalize. Just a few more steps and we’ll have another check mark in the "good to go" pile!
With all that in place, scripting is ready to rock and roll. In fact, we’ve already begun. Want to see for yourself?
