April 2022 Monthly Update
Added 2022-04-02 22:04:17 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
We're posting a day late because we didn't want people to think a post yesterday was an April Fool's, totally not because we forgot. Anyway.
March was another good month of progress for us overall. Sickness and some personal circumstances did set things back a bit, but for the most part it went well.
On PBH, adi finished up 4 more CG's plus other stuff, while I wrote a bunch of new scenes. We're beginning the editing process for the earlier chapters while still working on the drafting of the later ones, so that we can jump right into scripting once we're ready. Adi will be taking a break from the Patreon wallpapers for a while as we finish up the game itself, but might pick those back up in the future! She's done an amazing job over the past year and I've used a couple of the wallpapers on my own devices. We hope you've enjoyed them too~

There's also been lots of progress on Lock and Key, too. We recently brought on a new programmer to help out with that game, and they've been doing incredibly too. All of the previews and screenshots we've shown in the past have been mockups, but now, these are actually in-engine and real.

I did some editing for the demo scenes, which Rachel will be working into revisions soon. Once those are ready, we can hand the scenario off to the programmer for scripting. It's too early to say when it'll be out, but it's coming together fast! If you're not familiar with LAK yet, you can take a peek at the work-in-progress version of the itch.io page to get a quick introduction to the characters.
Some other, smaller updates or things you may have missed:
-The Highway Blossoms: Dusk vinyl has been shipped out! There are only a few more copies available, so if you're interested in a copy, don't wait too long! You can pick it up from the Very OK Vinyl webstore, and there's currently a $5 discount available!
-The Xbox version of Heart of the Woods is, to our best knowledge, coming soon! It's been out of our hands for quite a while at this point, so even we're not always 100% sure of the status, but it shouldn't be much longer (knock on wood)
With that, I think we've covered all the big stuff from March. Thanks for another month of support!
