Schedule School Events 1.1: Prom, Exams, Career Day and Party Before Prom (Preview)

This is the updated Schedule School Events mod, which includes Party Before Prom scheduling and other enhancements.

So what's new?

Taking exam fix

Sometimes a sim attended ordinary class instead of taking an exam so I fixed it. However, you may see 'Attend Class_Name' during the afternoon goals. I'm not sure yet why this goal is displayed instead of 'Take Exam' but the 'Take Exam' interaction runs during class and the exam performance is calculated correctly. So don't worry about it.

Set up 'Prom is Near' period

With this mod, school events are only scheduled on holiday mornings. Because of this, the game can't calculate how many days are left before prom, which is why there were no interactions like asking someone to prom or creating a promposal sign.

But now you can click on a sim and find the 'Prom Near On/Off' interactions in the High School category.

This interaction allows all teens in your household to perform prom related actions.

If you switch to another one, then run this interaction too. Obviously, use the 'Prom Near Off' interaction to disable interactions.

During the Prom holiday, all teens automatically receive the Prom Near On status in case you forgot to set it up earlier. The Toggle is disabled during this holiday to prevent bugs. Once the holiday ends, you'll be able to toggle the Prom Near status again.

If you switch to another household, the previous one will not be cleared from the utilities, and teens won't receive the Prom Near status automatically at the next Prom holiday. Don't worry, using the "Prom Near On/Off" interaction clears the utilities as well.

Scheduling Party Before Prom

In the previous version, the party with the other teens didn't happen before prom. To fix that, I added one more tradition: Party Before Prom. As usual, it starts at around 4 p.m.

You can combine this tradition with others as you wish; there is no conflict. You don't have to hold the party and prom on the same day.

Attention

Please keep in mind that the prom and party won't start instantly, as they would without the mod. You'll receive an invitation within an hour, but the event will last as long as usual. It's just a limitation of scheduled events.

It looks like a lot of files might conflict, but it's actually specific files, so there aren't that many mods that might conflict.

It conflicts with mods that turn off notifications but most of them turn off Sport Day messages. With Zerbu's mod you don't need it, though.

It doesn't conflict with Education Overhaul and Dynamic Teen Life by Adeepindigo, Go to School and Schedule Festivals Yourself by Zerbu, Career Day Overhaul by Ilkavelle. Most likely it will conflict just with other mods implementing the same behaviour.
