Schedule School Events: Prom, Exams and Career day

Hi everyone,

I continue to make some improvements for High School Years. Today it's a mod similar to Zerbu's Schedule Festivals Yourself. Actually it works in a similar way - so big thanks to Zerbu for allowing me to use it as a base! - Your calendar will be cleared of school events until you don't plan a holiday with your own traditions.

So if you want to schedule school exams, for example, you should add a holiday tradition with the appropriate name. Also, make sure you uncheck the 'Day off' option for exams and careers day, as it only works on school days. Like any other holiday, it starts tomorrow at the earliest.

 

And remember, you can combine some events! I mean, you can have a prom on any day. All my school events are compatible with Sports Day festivals (you can schedule them using the Zerbu mod).

BUT! You can't combine Sports days, and you can't have exams and Career day at the same time.

 

If there's no exam on Friday, then your students are studying maths and language - I suppose these are basic subjects for any school.

Also, the holiday tradition status doesn't always match your actions, but I can't do much more as there are no specific travel actions to check.

And remember, you can't cancel events that have already been scheduled. You can add new events, but not remove existing ones. Already existing may be hidden in your calendar but they still will happen. Just wait until your calendar is updated (by default, all school-related events are scheduled 4 weeks in advance).

It looks like a lot of files might conflict, but it's actually specific files, so there aren't that many mods that might conflict.

It conflicts with mods that turn off notifications but most of them turn off Sport Day messages. With Zerbu's mod you don't need it, though.

It doesn't conflict with Education Overhaul and Dynamic Teen Life by Adeepindigo, Go to School and Schedule Festivals Yourself by Zerbu, Career Day Overhaul by Ilkavelle. Most likely it will conflict just with other mods implementing the same behaviour.
