TWINS (Finally!!) W.I.P.

Hi everyone! I'm happy I've decided to make polls to choose what should I work on because it gave me a motivation to update Twins mod.

But yey, thanks for your vote in any case because I like so much there is some activity on this page now!

So as I promised this update will be focused on features that are available for younger twins.

And 1st, now toddlers and kids can compare each other appearance to decide whether or not they are similar. They can do that via mirror or via socials.

They much more likely decide they look alike if they are identical twins. Fraternal twins and independent or inquisitive sims are more likely to see the differences.

2nd. I'm implementing a small system to track whether or not your sim likes being a twin and it affect their special interactions. I.e., sim (from toddler age) can tell another people that they have a twin. But if a sim likes to have a twin it's a happy phrase and quite a sad otherwise. Their phrases also affect reactions of their dialogue participant. And it's just one example!

3nd. I'm gonna add elder/younger twin status. At least, it already exists as a cheat and maybe I'll write a script to automatically detect who was the first one (but not sure it will be this or next update).

Your toddlers (and older) can argue about who is the elder twin (well obviously they both think the same way). But if they ask parents they tell who really is the elder twin. If one of the twins founds out she/he is the elder then option to tease the twin because of that is available.

4th. So yeah your sim can be mean with their twin by teasing them. Depending on personality they tease about different things like appearance, school grades and (not) having friends. It affects self-esteem ofc and a teased twin likes to have a twin much less (can't blame them).

That's just a part of features but this is where I am at this point!
