We’ve reached today. And I want to end this posting spree on my favorite person. My favorite model, my favorite muse, my favorite creative partner and my favorite live-in inspiration. What a gift it is to spend my life with this man. I don’t usually gush about him online, we like to keep our sweet nothings between us, but this is a safe space and I got the urge to gush. After a bit of a flat period in my photography recently, Carter wanted to help me feel inspired again and has been taking me on photography dates. This shoot is from some years ago, but I’m excited to share with you what we’ve been doing. Which brings me to what you’re all probably wondering about - my Saul Leiter inspired roll of film. It is coming, I promise! Life got in the way and caused some severe delays, but it is with the developer now and will be ready at the latest on Tuesday. I considered developing it myself, but I don’t feel confident enough yet and this roll is precious to me so I decided to leave it to the professionals. Plus, I truly don’t have the time right now as I’m working two jobs, just joined a choir and am trying to have some semblance of a social life when I’m not entirely exhausted. So Tuesday evening, you will be getting the first installment of my “Saul Leiter inspires: frames within frames” series.
