movement vs stillness
Added 2025-02-10 15:59:46 +0000 UTCthis series was part of a collaborative project I did a while back, inspired by the music of Luca Longobardi - a pianist, composer and multi-media artist. I recommend you find him on instagram and give him a listen. I wanted to contrast fleeting movement with the seemingly eternal stillness of the mountains, while capturing the freedom of immersing oneself in nature. The coldness of the wind on the skin, the fresh air filling the lungs, the grass caressing the feet. A reminder that we are only a small part of nature; it towers over us, outlasts us, provides for us and humbles us, and we remain responsible for how we treat it.

2025-02-13 16:04:58 +0000 UTCI can’t remember what exact shutter speed this was, but I love playing around with shutter speeds from 1/30th all the way to 1/4th (obviously super blurry at that point). Mostly I play with 1/30th and 1/15th ☺️
