I think the point of advicery is that it's entertainment and not meant to be taken seriously. If they did private advice sessions, I think that would move them into a new and entirely different territory.

While I appreciate that in a capitalist society there will always be those who will try to pick every last bit of meat off the bone, I’m also aware that they are putting up a large financial barrier to access LGBTQIA+ content. They can charge what they want, if we can’t afford it then we simply don’t consume, doesn’t change how I feel though and also doesn’t change that it’s those who are less affluent, who lets face it often need the escape the most, that will miss out the most.

MOM Plus subscription prices are wild, I’m all for giving the girls their flowers and coins but damn! They did us so dirty with those prices, more expensive than Netflix. Sloppy Seconds and Very Delta must have taken a big viewership hit. If both you slags (British accent) had to only pick one of the following for the rest of your career which would it be? 1. So what is your objective of getting your question on an advice episode if nobody remembers who it was? I can say that bob and monet listened to my dusty ass voice with a slight bostonian accent once, but who would care. That's not clout. I'm not saying that it's not the case for everyone, but thinking every person submits for the simple of fact of getting a question on is interesting. I think both Bob and Monet have a perspective and voice that I don't find on many platforms that I really value especially because it is so rare and really enjoy listening to (which sounds like I'm sucking up and being a gushing fan, but I actually really mean it). I would maybe consider the spectrum of people who are submitting.

Nobody's going to remember my voice (or should) or what I submitted, but Bob and Monet answered my question looking for actual advice about my first time at Dragcon, and it definitely helped me and my experience. It might help someone else who remembers it too. I understand thinking that might be the case for some, but you expect every single person to feel the exact same way when submitting for something nobody will remember you for? Okay, Maria. It's an interesting take.
