The reason I've looked into this so much is because I had to get dentures at 32. I'm 36 and I had to figure out why I couldn't eat Cap'n Crunch but I COULD eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The flat squares of CTC dissolve thoroughly,so there's no hard pieces. Buy Cap'n Crunch is a round ball and dissolved on the outside more quickly, leaving a tiny hard piece in the center. So I can't eat Cap'n Crunch but I CAN eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch. And I dip my oreos in water. ** Bow ** 😌🦷🥛💧

About the wet oreos: Water has the ability to turn things into mush because water molecules are positive and negative, like magnets. They pull on each other. So, when you put something that's water soluble into water, it's own molecules will get torn apart by the positive and negative pulling back and forth. That's why an oreo gets mushy. That's why you can leave a dirty pan soaking in water and it will get mushy enough to be cleaned. So, you'll notice with cereal, if you use a milk that's got a lower water content (higher fat content) like whole milk, the cereal takes a lot longer to become soft. If you eat cereal with skim milk, which has a much higher water and much lower fat content, it will get mushy very quickly. THE ENTIRE POINT of dipping an oreo into milk is to get it to become mushy so the chocolate and cream mix together. Dipping an oreo into skim milk will result in a much mushier oreo in much less time because the water content is higher. Dipping an oreo in whole milk is not a good idea because the cookie on the outside is getting destroyed as the milk seeps into the cookie. By the time the inner cookie (closest to the icing) is mushy enough to eat, the outer cookie is so soggy that is dissolves into the milk, which is why you have bits of cookie floating in your milk. So, Dipping your cookie into water for 10 seconds results in the cookie being destroyed by the water more quickly, and it gets to the center of the cookie more quickly so you have a more uniformly mushy cookie rather than one that's mostly in the milk or hard on the inside.

Bob you should try Black Girl Sunscreen! If you have dry skin use the kids version, but it's the best sunscreen I've ever used. It rubs in seamlessly and I normally HATE HATE HATE wearing sunscreen.
