IRL updates: New machines!
Added 2024-05-11 14:38:12 +0000 UTCMy new machines to replace the broken sewing machine just arrived. The sewing machine is Juki HZL-180SZ (about 130$). The overlocker is Brother 2104D (about 340$).
If you are wondering why I do not spend on computer hardware's instead given that I mainly do 3D, it is because I already have. My current system is Ryzen 9 and RTX 4070. I don't think that any more upgrade will be beneficial. I also hopeful that will real life sewing experience, I can produce commercial patterns in the future.
I initially want to spend the money on Donnanno book that has just been published, but it does not ship to Malaysia.
Actually, because I'm living with my parent now (as we Asian do), I do have my mother's machines that I can use. However, they are in different room and very intimidating to use (they are very fast industrial machine with big ass motors that always on). They are also very loud, so I don't want to disturb my family at night. I also would like to have my own personal machines. Besides, I may move out someday.
