Oversized Bomber Jacket

Garment reference: “METHADONE” Layered killer moto bomber jacket by SHINELUXURY. This jacket was introduced to me by a patreon subscriber.
Bodice: ESMOD bodice block with dart. I choose this block because the real garment has shoulder dart. This is the only men block I know that has shoulder dart. However, any basic men block is suitable because the dart is not important, especially for an oversized jacket like this. You can easily fake the dart by cutting a slit.
Sleeve: ESMOD pivoted kimono sleeve.
Fabric: Woven. The real fabric is denim that has been overdyed. I use raw denim.
Not shown in video: Applying topstich, puckering, editing zipper. Some other minor adjustments and fix.
* The result is not as badass as the real garment. Probably I need to make it more boxy and put the glove on. Beside adding more ease, you can improve the result by doing the following:
- Try different fabric, like leather.
- Adding lining (layer clone over/under). This may give the jacket more volume. However, I usually refrain from doing this because it will significantly increase the poly count.
- Try experimenting with fabric pressure, especially if you have lining added. This can the create more 'puffy' look.
- For more realistic waistband/cuff, try using elastic instead of shrinkage warp/weft. I did not prefer the elastic method because it is less stable in my opinion.
- Painting the texture using external texture editor like substance/marmoset.
