Patreon Exclusive: Baggy Cargo Pants

Reference garment: Balenciaga Large Cargo Pants. The actual garment cost $2000+. Now you can have its 3D version for free, reversed engineered by yours truly. It may not be an exact replica, but that is not my intention anyway.

Pants block:  Aldrich jeans block.

Fabric: Woven. I use cotton heavy twill. Actual fabric is cotton ripstop.

All files available now in shared folder https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hVbxbFNFkbtI8lOZzFi9-WiADOs9cPRA?usp=sharing The folder name is "Baggy Cargo Pants v1.0" in garment folder.

Notes:

- If you follow along, make sure to open the video in youtube, turn on the caption and transcript. There is also timestamp in video description for your convenience.

- I think this is the minimum amount that is considered baggy. If you want more bagginess, just increase the bottom width after you finish with the fitting the basic shape.

- The particle distance is set to 10 which I think a good compromise between simulation and render. For best render result, set the particle distance to 5.

- Clo only features that I use in the video, not available in MD: archive option, baseline, distribute internal line, and offset internal line both side. These features are not crucial but can help speed up workflow. Another tool that is not available in MD is puckering tool. If you are familiar with other external texturing tools, you should use them instead because the puckering tool is very limited in what it can do in Clo.

- The most difficult part for me is actually how to apply the camo pattern. I don't want to use external texturing software like substance painter, and I don't know how  to. Initially, I just replace the texture with tilable camo pattern that I generated using stable diffusion, but it is too small. If I enlarge using the texture tool, the grain texture will get enlarged too, which is not ideal. My solution is to first tile the grain texture and normal in 4x4 row in image editing software, before using it in Clo. That is why you will find that the camo texture that I provided is 4096 resolution instead of the default Clo 1024 resolution.

To increase bagginess, did you add 2cm instead of 1cm to the bottom width?
