The Todrick Episode

Obviously we all see the visceral reaction many of you are having to the Todrick episode. We saw how short the segment ended up being so we wanted to put the full version on the podcast so you guys see the interview in its entirety. As you all know on this podcast we run the gamut of topics and this is one A LOT of folks including us have questions about…what is the truth!?

Part of being a part of this patreon is being free to express your opinions, thoughts, and feelings, but with that we cannot have people being outright gross and nasty which is why some comments had to be deleted.

I want to have a Zoom Family Meeting about this tomorrow (Wednesday). I land in Kansas City around 1PM and after that we’ll post what time we’ll do it before I have to get ready for my show. But it’ll be around 4ish whatever time zone Kansas City is…central?

Stay Kind,

Mo

I think a person can be an "amazing performer" and "extremely talented" and "friends with Bob and monet" but also be problematic, misogynistic, and rude. You don't record a homeless person sleeping and then scurry away and laugh at them and then post it online and act like you aren't totally in the wrong. You don't come out and say that Drag Race is for queer men only and that if women want to do drag they can do it somewhere besides drag race, and expect to get love and admiration. This is where I feel like Bob and Monet have on Friendship Blinders and they allow his problematic behavior to go unchecked because they're friends with him. I love you both so much and you've both taught me a lot but I cannot get behind you on this and I feel like you guys needs to respect the fact that some people are seriously put off by Todrick and his behavior and to blatantly ignore that, delete comments that are negative towards todrick and call a "Family Meeting" and make a separate video ALL to defend Todrick seems like a bit much. It FEELS like "This is a place for discourse and opinions and feelings but Todricks our friend so yall gonna shut the fuck up" - and that's just really disappointing. ❤️

I think people need to remember that humans make mistakes and that mistake doesn’t define a person forever. I enjoyed the episode and thought it showed a genuine side of Todrick. I appreciate people that can show emotions and feelings and I am grateful for Bob and Monét sharing honest opinions.

No matter what you hear about someone online or what you might think about them, you don’t actually know them. People forget that these are real people behind their screes with real life relationships. I’ve never been a bandwagon hater and never will be. Todricks life and friendships don’t affect me, idk why they would affect any of you. Touch grass and grow up.
