I mean the show started in the early 90s so maybe the younger generation just don't know it as well. But I agree she should have amped it up. It was really tepid even for the character. Patsy is someone who was mean. Like really hilariously mean and very very drunk and out of it. Like falling out of a car, falling down the stairs, slurring her words drunk. I was actually really surprised that Vivienne was so weak. Same goes with her Catherine Tate. This may be a UK vs US thing because she did a character that Catherine plays and I feel like there were better options but maybe that particular character is better known in the UK. But she has an obnoxious school girl that she plays that is so fucking funny and I feel like more people from the US would have known that character.
