As a fan of the show and Monet, it’s immensely disappointing that we will never get to see the unedited footage of Monets lipsync. If the heavily edited version was already amazing I can only imagine what it’s like without it being cut up. But I think I know why they don’t count the final lipsync and Bob almost figured it out. It’s the Sasha Velour moment. The thing with that moment is it was live and we had a full shot of the stage and a room full of people explode to their feet in applause. Could you imagine if that moment was followed with “congratulations Shea! You’re the winner!”. They couldn’t edit around that where they are able to with these All Stars lipsyncs.

I dont even understand where you are getting this? Monet won three challenges… only trinity and jinx won more. And its also true that she was mentioned highly in the majority of challenges by the judges. Those are all objective facts are they not? Make it make sense please

@Dominic If she had “killed” every challenge then she would have managed to actually win more than one week lmao. The record is objective, 4 of the 8 contestants did better than her during the challenges. Period. Doesn’t mean she isn’t great, all the contestants were - a great season. As for me, Not sure why you resort to personal attacks, probably because you’re insecure. It’s okay, life will get better!

Being delusional isn’t respectful. I have not disrespected her at all, I’m simply stating the facts about numbers of top placements throughout the season. Monet is a very talented performer, one of the best RPDR has ever had. So she deserved her place in the season. That doesn’t mean she did great during the season, which she admitted many times during the show. She certainly finished strong in the last 2 episodes, and will benefit from that.

You’re weird for pulling up on this Patreon and replying to so many people’s comments trying to discredit Monét’s success this season. She would’ve been in the Top 4 without the 3 star twist as she had 3 wins (whether you personally count them or not). She would’ve made top 4 with 3 stars if the extra weren’t given. It’s universally accepted that the top 2 are both winners and get stars this season (and both lip syncs she lost to Shea were 100x better than anything Jinkx served up this season but that’s besides the point). Aside from just her wins, she killed almost every challenge, being mentioned as a contender for the win in almost all of the episodes. She would’ve made an absolute worthy winner and should’ve been crowned based on the fact she demolished the final lip sync. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but someone as factually inaccurate and tasteless as you should probably keep theirs to themself. :)

It’s not negativity it’s facts. I enjoy both these queens which is why I’m paying for this and nothing of jinkx‘s at the moment. And who says the talent show should be worth more? Maybe the comedy stand ups or snatch game should be worth 30 stars. Lmao. If it was the other way around and someone jumped from the bottom queens up to the top with a single challenge knocking your favorite out of the finale you wouldn’t feel the same way.

First off, A talent show SHOULD be worth more stars than say.. a random acting challenge where certain roles are objectively better. Secondly, gtf off their patreon with this negatively. Thanks :)

Y'all are wild talking about she should have won the "season" when she wouldn't have even been in the finale without the silly reality-tv stunt of making the final challenge randomly worth 3 stars. She did objectively worse this season than Jinkx, Shea, Trinity, and the Vivienne who all had more top2/wins. She was in the bottom half of performers... You can have a favorite, no problem, but be honest with yourself too.

Cool, next season let's only have a single episode where all the queens lip-sync. Since you think one lip-sync is more important than an entire season's worth of performance lol. They have NEVER said you can do pretty poorly the full season (which Monet objectively did) and then win the entire competition from a single lip-sync.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE AS7 FINALE From the beginning the main focus of this season was the Lip Sync Lalaparuza Smack Down for The Crown. When they win challenges they received a Legendary Legend Star. The stars were the key to getting into the Lip Sync Lalaparuza, so they could compete for the crown. All season long the drama came from queens getting blocked from getting stars, which kept them from competing for the crown. Shea’s whole arc with her with winning three stars and making into the finale was pointless. The whole season was built up for this ONE MOMENT; only for it to not count. They really had Monet give the best lip sync in Drag Race Herstory only for it to mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. 😑 Then to add insult to injury we didn’t even get to see the best parts of it. They should have just had them do some group number and go over their progress throughout the season and then picked a winner. Because as a viewer, it felt like someone stopped eating me out right before I came. Bewildered.
