Important note regarding consecutive character suggestions

Alright! Here are the new characters added this month:

As you can see, this month has been absolutely wild 🤣 8 new characters added all at once! Even more than at the beginning, when there were barely any limitations. But that’s only natural, the Patreon has grown a lot, and I can see that those in the Spicy/Juicy Booba tiers are getting the hang of how this works now. I mean, 90% of the suggestions come from you guys, so it’s clear no one’s missing their shot 😆

Naturally, I’ve been thinking about ways to slightly nerf this reward, because I don’t think I can manage to draw more than 2 of these per month. So even if I keep going like this, the list will eventually get so long that the last ones would have to wait over a year. And I’m not sure that would be the best for everyone.

Here are some ideas I’ve been considering:

• Increase the suggestion cooldown from 3 months to 4 for Juicy/Spicy Booba tiers

• Maybe limit the number of monthly winners to just 3 characters? I’m not sure how I’d manage that though — what happens to someone who suggested their character correctly, but didn’t make the top 3?

• (The one I find most viable) Pause the suggestion activity once the queue reaches 24 selected characters, and resume once we’re down to 10. During the pause, I could draw 4 characters a month instead of 2, which would help speed up the list significantly.

I really enjoy doing this because it lets me draw interesting characters that would probably never win the regular polls. So I’d rather not stop doing it. Plus, those of you who commission the alt versions of the drawings help make this worth it and sustainable without sacrifices.
