I have 5 cats and each time I've gotten a new one I've had to keep the new cat isolated for a few days and then slowly introduce each cat to the new one. So the idea of "my cat went on a play date" is STRICTLY for the benefit of the human. YOU think it's cute. YOU think it's fun. The cats wants no part of that human shit. How crazy.

2023-04-25 14:32:18 +0000 UTCA little late to the party on this one with a catch up binge but, as someone with Autism, I think I can distinguish empathy and empathic more. I have empathy for things that I experience first hand or witness with my eyes. I get incredibly distressed seeing animals in pain or lost/confused etc but if a human person tells me a story that a neurotypical person could feel empathy or sympathy for, IDGAF. I can't find the fucks. It's not that I don't care, I just don't feel any remote connection to it.
