2022-06-07 01:37:40 +0000 UTCAs someone who has worked in a corporate office and now in at a tech company, unless she’s wearing something wildly inappropriate, HR/supervisors won’t step in. However, women are VERY much judged on their looks and what they wear in the office, and this will definitely impact her career trajectory. I personally think that there’s nothing wrong with giving a friend a private heads up that they might not want to tone it down a bit. Do I like the system? Nope. But the the system is still the system, and saying that “it’s 2022, girl, werrrrk” doesn’t make it a reality.
