The story of their biggest hit "Leader of the Pack" was about a biker who bad for them and dies in a crash. Right down to the "Look out" they call in both songs.

It's pretty obvious to me that making the girls lip sync in whatever they wore on the runway is a production tool to make sure a girl that they are ready to have sent home actually goes home. I mean, you remember Denali having to lip sync in Olivia's floor length gown. That was a travesty. Also, the girls who have to lip sync in a look that they made themselves that was clearly not made for dancing. Rock M Sakura had to spend half her time cutting herself out of an outfit she made. Obviously not letting them change isn't meant to help them succeed.

I seriously doubt Manila is somehow offended that she saw Jasmine's nipple and believes it should be censored because it isn't fit to be seen tv. The point she is actually making is the network censors women's nipples but not men's. (Whether they should be doing this is another discussion, the point is they do.) So by not censoring Jasmine's nipples they are misgendering her by treating her body as they would a man's body, not a woman's. Manila was making a comment on the possible misgendering aspect of it, she wasn't supporting "misogyny" or whatever else nonsense I've seen in these comments.

My understanding of showing the nipples relates to US tv 'guidelines' that allow the queens to run around in the workroom in tights and pads with nipples exposed and not blurred because they're seen as 'male body parts' but in the floor show, sometimes they're blurred if it appears that they're part of a 'female illusion' and 'female body parts' cannot be shown. If Jasmine is trans, but her body is shown, does this infer that her body isn't female? I'm in the UK and we have a different way of showing nudity on television (more in line with consent for one's body to be shown, regardless of gender). This does need further unpacking in like a patreon exclusive perhaps so Manila can elucidate on their point but for me it's Jasmine's body and life so perhaps it would be more conducive to allow her to comment because it may not mean a thing to her (so why feel something on her behalf) or it may mean everything and in any case we support her...? I do wonder what consideration is given to contestants in regards to consent and bodies being shown clothed or not. I'm thinking of all the queens that choose to showcase their art through fashion and have their physical bodies critiqued. Wouldn't/Shouldn't it be about the padding/corseting etc. (if any), makeup, lashes etc. that contribute to the illusion, whatever their vision may be?
