Todrick isn't just being messy and playing the game, I could get behind a solid villain edit for the sake of game play but he's been misogynistic, talked shit about Manila for some reason, openly talked about not paying his editors fairly for Youtube videos and tried to tell Chris Kirkpatrick his children wouldn't be proud of him lmao. I'm sure I'm forgetting some other stuff but it's the stuff he's saying about the things in the outside world that I have a problem with, not his gameplay.

Matt looking for an MA: a lot of library people have an MLIS because they have to in order to work in administration/leadership or to be a "librarian". It's expensive and a lot of people think it's a scam - I agree with Bob. It's not a scam in that it purports itself to be something else, but it's literally just a piece of paper that can't guarantee you a job. If a student goes to undergrad, and goes straight to graduate school for an MA without working in the field for at least a couple of years, they will not get work. The experience is seeming to be more important than the degree, in my experience, but the degree is a rite of passage. Also are you working in museums? Get some experience and hear what people think of the field before going into grad school debt.

i know i'm late on this but i just watched this and to add on bob and monet's comments about todrick's game: yes, big brother as a game is messy sometimes but todrick's approach is to take personal digs at these celebrities and make himself the victim when something goes wrong, all while being carried by a competition beast. In a regular season he might've won since the jury is sequestered but I don't think he understands that the jury in a celebrity season watches the show and fan reaction. At this point, todrick only has the vote of the person that is going to get evicted the day of the finale, so he's losing by a vote of 7-1 provided cynthia bailey does not catch on during the jury questioning that nobody else is voting for todrick. Also, if y'all watch the show you won't see anything wrong with todrick since they really went out of their way to give him a good edit, but the live feeders saw todrick's true game. Players typically don't play this sort of way because 1. they don't usually know each other that well so personal digs are kind of just superficial and 2. they know the fans are gonna come for them. Players in the past that have gotten away with this kind of gameplay are basically hated now (e.g. evel dick)

To the person seeking a museum studies degree. I’m in the same pickle right now. I have a studio art BFA and I’m working in arts admin but because of budgeting I’m only part time. I’ve lost out on two museum jobs to similar candidates with master degrees. I would talk to the people who work where you want to. It’s also a little location based like you might be okay with a BFA in a small town or middle America but they would not let you near the MET without a masters or PHD ya know. I would ask more direct questions to people who do what you want to do. But once you figure it out let me know because I don’t want to get another rejection from a full time job offer 😂
