Trust me, shift your focus elsewhere. Str8 men like attention too, so the “mixed signals” you’re getting from him is most likely just him being friendly and enjoying the attention you’re giving him by pining for him. The situation for me didn’t turn out very well and ended with me and this co-worker no longer speaking. I thought he was giving me mixed signals as well but turns out he wanted the attention and affection without any sort of reciprocation. My advice is the same as Bob & Monét’s. Try to move on and if you can handle just being friends do that, if you’re just too into him and can’t get past it; distance yourself.
