I can't with people that want invites to things they know they won't attend or enjoy to the extent of openly complaining. It would be annoying for me as someone planning shit for a group. I'm not inviting you to something if I know you won't like to it. That just kind of seems rude after a while. Like, you're gonna come over and make me feel bad for having the decency to invite your sorry ass? I think Monét is right in her suggestion.

Putting this out in the universe as I know many gay folks have been hurt by religious beliefs of so called Christians. The Episcopal Church in 1976, adopted a resolution stating that “homosexual persons are children of God who have a full and equal claim with all other persons upon the love, acceptance, and pastoral concern and care of the Church”, and that they “are entitled to equal protection of the laws with all other citizens”. Not to be too serious but Bob talking about her resentment and relationship with her dad is so relatable and honest. Growing up the child of an alcoholic/addict (especially a habitually absent one) can cause so much resentment as an adult, even when you acknowledge that addiction is an illness and often a result of trauma and mental health issues. i would love an episode about interracial dating! as a latino, growing up you were told to date lighter skin people in order to "improve the race." very problematic and ive had to unlearn that but i still find myself being attracted to white guys than guys who are POC. so yes please an episode on that.

This Grudge vs. The Ring confusion hurt my spirit 😭😭😭😭 for the exhumerated: The Ring (2002) = Cursed video tape. After you watch it, you get the phone call (“7 days”), and if you don’t get another person to watch it within 7 days, Samara crawls out the TV and kills you. The Grudge (2004) = Cursed house. Kayako and her son, Toshio, are violently murdered by husband/dad, creating a “grudge” or a curse. If you enter the house, you’re basically dead. Kayako and Toshio will haunt and kill you. Monét is right about the croaking noise. It’s the sound Kayako’s ghost makes because her husband broke her neck. Kayako also has long black hair. Both decent American remakes of Japanese films.
